On side "A" Whipd Beats weaves moods that are softly textured, with richness, warmth, depth, and soul. A collection of ambient jazz, soulful gospel blues, chillout downtempo, and a fusion of hip hop with tango. Side "B" is filled with voluptuous sounds for the dance floor, a harmonic tapestry filled with streaks of colour, stirring up excitement and spilling energy from every pore. Fusing different genres together and venturing down uncovered pathways, this collection of Afro disco house, tribal tech, progressive jazzy house, and progressive tech house is guaranteed to sweep you up into the unbounded rhythm and textured beats. Between these two very different tempos lies the personality of the artist, an alternation between tenderness and punch, exuberance and restraint, experimental and serene. There is an open-mindedness and an unorthodox acoustic approach allowing Whipd Beats to escape the usual conventionalities and create music that is 'eclectic' and fresh.

Whipd Beats a.k.a. Melanie Webb, is an electronic music producer, composer, and songwriter from Perth, Australia.
In a day and age when high gloss and gimmicks take the place of style and inventiveness Whipd Beats has an open-mindedness and an unorthodox acoustic approach that escapes the usual conventionalities to create music that is electric and fresh. She has been composing, arranging, and producing music since 2011.
In 2018 her Afro-House track “Joie de Vivre” was signed to Italian House label Stereophonic Records and made it to number nineteen on the Traxsource Essential Afro-House Charts. Since then she has been working on creating a body of work that is a reflection of her passion for House music and its sub-genres. It has taken two years to see the completion of her debut album “Eclectic”. You can expect the unexpected from this album, Whipd Beats ventures down uncovered pathways, fusing different genres together whilst trying a variety of approaches to get to the essence of the music and tell her story.
The album is full of paradoxes just like its creator. Whipd Beats is a painter who uses colour, weaving moods that are softly textured, with richness, warmth, depth, and soul. Her dance tracks are filled with a voluptuous energy guaranteed to move feet on dance floors! Between these two very different tempos lies the personality of the artist, there is a sensitivity that listeners want, and a flawless interpretation that will linger on for a long time to come. In the end it is the musician who determines the path of their music bringing their own individual stamp to their legacy.
Whipd Beats music has been used in art-house films in Perth, Australia, and has also caught the ears of GOGO label owner and DJ Ralf Gum who said ‘he loved it!’
